Alice Tousignant, of the League of Women Voters’ state-wide committee on housing will present her committee’s summary report on the issue in preparation for a League consensus on the issue. Her presentation includes information about policy measures that could be adopted at the state level to insure that all Virginians have fair access to safe and affordable housing.
The Lynchburg League of Women Voters is exploring the possibility of forming a committee to examine the housing issue at a local level.
The public forum (approx. 45 minutes) will be followed by a membership meeting open only to LWVLY members.
